Battlefield - Syria

The Syrian government in Damascus urges the UN once again to take immediate actions against the US-led bombing campaign, which is taking a heavy toll on civilians and devastating the country’s infrastructure.

In two letters addressed to the UN chief and the Security Council chairman, the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry has denounced repeated US attacks on civilians and the country’s infrastructure. The ministry accused the US of being engaged in “war crimes and crimes against humanity” in Syria under the pretext of fighting ISIS.

The USA and its allies have been bombing Syria since September 2014. The strikes have resulted in many civilian casualties and failed to fulfill their declared aim of countering terrorism. Terrorists are using heavy weapons, explosive-laden vests and car bombs to slow SAA advances, which have gained momentum in recent months.

At the same time the US military uses depleted uranium in their ammo, while the US coalition warplanes are using banned phosphorous bombs in their air strikes against the obtained human targets. What does the UN stand for, the United Nazis? We know from the past that legal steps by countries as Syria, Iran, Lebanon and Palestinians do not work. This UN body serves only the USA and Israel, and that is why nothing changes in the Middle East!

With ISIS defense lines broken around Dayr al-Zawr, a ragtag grouping of mostly Kurdish militants supported by the US military now has also been on the march in a bid to carve out a foothold in the oil– and gas-rich province.

The Exodus of War Refugees to Europe has been stopped by EU politicians, leaving Greece and Italy with millions of migrants blocked in their countries. Since 2011, over 500.000 people have lost their lives in the Syrian siege, while leaving another 12 million victimized Syrian civilians displaced forever, thanks to evil terrorist acts.
