The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah says it has killed the ISIS military commander for the Masharih al-Qaa border area in Lebanon.

Hezbollah participates in Lebanon’s government and shares security responsibilities with the Lebanese army in areas along the eastern border with Syria.

ISIS and Al Qaeda seized the Lebanese border town of Arsal in 2014, before security forces pushed them back across the frontier.

The ISIS commander killed by Hezbollah in a rocket attack was known as Abu Khatab. He ordered many bombings and suicide attacks against Muslim civilians in order to contribute to the ongoing genocide.
