The longtime Russian ambassador to the United Nations, Vitaly Churkin died in New York of a cardiac arrest, at the Russian Mission to the UN, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side according to the NYPD.

Churkin died one day before his 65th birthday, and was seen as an outstanding diplomat. Churkin had served as the Russian ambassador since 2006. He had a reputation as a master of UN procedure, and frequently contested his American counter parts over Crimea, Iran, Iraq, Georgia, Libya and Ukraine.

Most recently Churkin verbally sparred with American diplomat Samantha Power (UN 2013-2017), who attempted to shame his reputation and blamed him for the massacre of civilians in Aleppo. He mockingly compared her to “Mother Theresa”. Despite their prickly encounters, Power said she was devastated by his loss, as she described him as a diplomatic maestro.

Since Moscow helped liberating Syria, many of its high ranked diplomats suddenly died. First the Russian ambassador in Turkey was shot dead, some time later a former KGB general was poisoned and now the Russian top representative to the UN has mysteriously passed away. Not to mention the countless assassination attempts made on Putin’s life, since hos confrontation with the Western Zionists.

During a UN session, just before Churkin died, he mentioned to the Americans that emotion should override reason.
