Five people, including four Russians were killed in a helicopter crash in Istanbul. Two other passengers survived the accident in the Beylikduzu district in Istanbul.

The Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, that was flown by two Turkish pilots, carrying the Russian business executives had taken off from Ataturk Airport, minutes before the accident.

Witnesses say the aircraft hot a television tower in dense fog before crashing on to a nearby motorway. The helicopter broke into pieces left scattered along the E-5 motorway, which was closed as firefighters cleared the burning wreckage.
