The NATO-Russia Council (NRC) has kicked off their 2nd meeting this year in order to prevent escalation of incidents and ensure transparency of military activities along the Russian borders in Europe.

NATO’s geopolitical ambitions have been proven a threat to Europe’s security, since NATO militarily invaded all the former Warsaw-Pact satellite states in order to move their troops inches away from Russia’s doorstep.

The upcoming military exercises and the issue over mutual buzzing of warplanes over the Baltic Sea are expected to be on the agenda. The parties will also discuss the fragile situation in Ukraine. However the delegates have little hope to achieve mutual understanding on the issue.
