Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian planes were scrambled five times to chase off multiple imperialist reconnaissance aircraft on its Western & Eastern Arctic flanks.

Fourteen Western spy planes were spotted patrolling Russia’s arctic borders in the past week. Nine foreign aircraft were detected on the western border, two on the Arctic and two on the southwestern stretch of the border and one on the eastern flank.

Additionally, three ships were seen patrolling Russian maritime borders during the same period. NATO has ramped up its hostile military missions in order to look for weaknesses in Russia’s arctic defense systems.

Last week the ministry reported about 19 foreign reconnaissance missions and three instances when Russian military aircraft had to intervene.
