The Saudi and Israeli authorities are coordinating all matters related to Iran. Tel Aviv and Riyadh do not have diplomatic ties, but reports confirmed that there is need for mutual cooperation in order to fight ‘common enemy’ Iran.
Saudi Arabia’s only condition, for letting the Israeli war jets us its airspace, is that Israel makes some kind of progress in peace talks with the Palestinians.
Being able to use Saudi airspace would allow Israeli F-15 and F16’s a shortcut to reach Iran without having to fly around the Persian Gulf, taking precious time and fuel. Israel and Saudi Arabia also share intelligence on Iran’s nuclear program at military level.
