The Syrian Army has arrived @ the eastern bank of the Euphrates River for the first time in 4 years, while special units of the Syrian army are already advancing in the western bank of the Euphrates, receiving support from the Russian Air Force.
The Russian General Staff also confirmed that the Syrian and Russian de-mining experts began their work @ the ancient ruins of Palmyra, while a new round of Astana talks is said to be taking place in the nearby future.
For the next round of talks it is scheduled to prepare a map of Al-Nusra and ISIS positions in Syria. Exchange of prisoners and other actions, aimed at bringing the sides of the conflict towards a compromise, are also scheduled.
In the meanwhile, Syria also filed a complaint @ the United Nations Security Council. According to the statement the Turkish regime is responsible for providing support to the terrorist groups that are (covertly) operating in Syria and whose actions have so far resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians and severe damage to the Syrian infrastructure.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also urged the UN to take necessary measures against the illegal presence of the Turkish Army inside Syrian territory, which violates the Syrian sovereignty and the international law. These moves represent the first-steps towards liberation.
