The so-called U.S.-led coalition forces dropped commandos near the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zour. The US special forces landed in a territory east of the oil rich Syrian city controlled by ISIS.

Apache gunship helicopters were used to protect the military units while landing in Syria. The assignment for the commandos was to destroy Syrian army supply points and ammo depots. It was reported that ISIS deployed additional forces in the area of the battlefield.

The US coalition, including Saudi Arabia repeated to report that Syria will see no peace until president Assad is removed from power.

Russia is still against the forcible overthrow of governments from the outside. It is up to the people of Syria to decide the faith of Assad.

Assad’s removal from power does not guarantee peace in Syria, but instead will increase the violence between all the involved terrorist brigades looking for power in order to divide the country into pieces so Turkey can get rid of the Kurds and for Israel to annex all Syrian territory leading all the way up to the Euphrates River.
