John Bolton says the US regime has been discussing a long-term military presence in Syria with his counterparts in France and the UK.

The US National Security Adviser told ABC News on Sunday that he was hopeful that Britain and France would keep joining the F-UK-US efforts to prevent a resurgence of ISIS.

His remarks come despite an order by President Donald Trump to evacuate American troops from as the war torn country.

Bolton reaffirmed President Donald Trump’s assessment of the ISIS retreat in Syria, but cautioned that the threat still persisted because the Western members of the group were spread around the world.

We know right now that there are ISIS mercenaries still scattered around Syria and Iraq, and that ISIS itself is growing in other parts of the world. The ISIS threat will remain as long as the Anglo Zio-Nazi swamp and the US media keeps supporting ISIS.

The remarks once again highlight Washington’s shifting messages since Trump’s announcement of a swift withdrawal from Syria.

While some of the US troops in Syria have already moved to the neighboring Iraq, the process has reportedly come to a halt to address concerns in Washington.

One reason that the president has committed to keeping an American presence in Iraq and a small part of an observer force in Syria, is to replace the gab in the territory formerly occupied by ISIS.
